The vision at BCF comes from it's members:
Director Greg Nemer
Following his successes with Aftermath and Marc and Cleo, Greg brought the the tense psycho-drama Unredeemable to life. Greg's unique vision is a welcome addition at Breaking the Cycle Films. A graduate of Naropa University with a major in Somatic Psychology and Performance Arts he is ideally suited to direct the type of films BCF makes. Starting his film career as an actor, his love for the craft moved him to teach and for 7 years Greg taught acting at the Colorado Film School. It was a natural progression that he move into Directing. We're honored to have him at BCF.
Cinematographer Stephen A. McKissen
Steve has worked under famed cinematographers Ric Waite (Footloose and 48 Hrs.) and Scott Ransom (Switchback and One Crazy Summer). It is this blockbuster experience that enables Steve to craft the images which will tell the stories BCF has to tell. Cutting his teeth working at production houses such as Citizen Pictures, The Colorado Production Group and Lighting Services, Steve has over 30 IMDB credits to his name. His latest the tense psycho- drama Unredeemable where the images he crafted are both compelling and disturbing. Steve is a welcome addition at BCF.
Producer J.W. Charleston
Writer and producer of Unredeemable, Occupy, The Secret of Baron Manor, Dissociative Amnesia and Finding Your Voice, Jim has been the recipient of several awards and his work has placed in a number of festivals. He has acted in numerous Colorado films and has been background talent on such films as Crazy Heart, Year One and Observe and Report. He is co-author of Spiritual Nomads a research study analyzing self-destructive behavior with regressed memories. He was co-founder of Family Crisis Counseling Center dealing with families in danger of having one or more children placed outside of the home and has undergone training in Bonding Psychotherapy. He earned a Masters in Divinity from the Iliff School of Theology and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. Jim brings a wealth of experience and is the driving force behind BCF.
